The discipline
Wildlife photography is mostly fieldcraft, and fieldcraft is mostly humility. Our wildlife workshops pair photographers with guides who read animals before light, in places where the ethics are as important as the frame: distance kept, habits respected, no baiting, ever.
You will learn long-lens technique, vehicle and hide discipline, and the harder skill of putting the camera down when the moment does not belong to you.

What focal length should I bring?
400mm equivalent is a comfortable baseline on safari-style workshops; hides and boats often work shorter. Each workshop page lists specifics.
Are sightings guaranteed?
No, and we are suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. We schedule around seasons and local knowledge, then let the field decide.
Can beginners join?
Yes — wildlife is technique-heavy but the technique is learnable in days. The patience takes longer, and we can't teach that; the field does.
