The discipline
The fine-art workshops are project workshops: you arrive with a subject you care about and leave with a coherent, printed beginning of a body of work. Teaching runs through tutorials, group critique, and printing — because scale, paper, and sequence are decisions, not afterthoughts.
Expect readings, long discussions, and the useful discomfort of defending your pictures out loud.

Say what the work is about in one sentence you'd be embarrassed to print. Then make it truer.
Edit on paper, on a floor, at arm's length.
Influence is fine; imitation is a stage. Pass through it on purpose.
Questions, answered
Do I need an existing project?
A subject and some pictures toward it, however rough. The workshop's job is shaping, not starting from zero — though starts have happened.
Is printing included?
Yes — every participant leaves with a small printed edit, sequenced and defended in the final critique.
How brutal is the critique?
Honest, structured, and aimed at the work rather than the person. Most people find it the most valuable part; nobody has left in tears yet, and we intend to keep the record.
