The discipline
Editing is where photographs are finished or ruined, and this workshop teaches it with darkroom manners: global before local, tone before colour, restraint before style. The full Lightroom workflow — ingestion, culling, correction, colour, output — is built into a system you can run in an hour a week, plus a printing day, because the print is the only honest proof.
Bring five hundred of your own unedited files; you'll leave with a system and a finished set.

Cull twice: once fast for failure, once slow for feeling.
The histogram is the negative. Read it before you touch anything.
If a slider moved more than twenty points, the photograph is asking a question sliders can't answer.
Questions, answered
Lightroom Classic or cloud?
Either — the room runs both, and the teaching maps across. Catalogue strategy differs and both versions are covered.
What about other software?
The principles transfer to Capture One and the rest; the demonstrations are Lightroom. A comparison hour covers the landscape honestly.
Is printing really included?
Yes — soft-proofing, paper choice, and a finished A3 print of your best file from the week.
